Vibrations Rule

It is only via vibrations that I can make myself be heard: words connect in a way, but within the commonality of the ear in no way matching the intensity of what vibrations convey.

Last night I let fly the most challenging composition of my lifetime: Prefaced with an improv (my preferred wont these days) Mozart's K. 475 filled the room as if a continuing improv. Everyone in the room was instantly a friend, whether or not they had ever seen one another before. The conversation afterward only further made the point, as it touched on all kinds of things, some deeply personal: rather astonishing outcome of a "concert."

On second thought, perhaps not so astonishing after all, given that the entire experience affirmed connection to an ear which had trod the planet almost 300 years ago. Again and again, my gratitude to Mozart knows no bounds. I learn so much from his fearless composition.
