WORKSHOPS

Each series of workshops uses TONAL Refractions to enhance listening/playing of a particular musical work. These study sessions are relevant to players at all levels, including professionals. The emphasis is on cultivating awareness of how specific instrumental sound inspires musical genres, rather than a theoretical or interpretative approach. Participants are encouraged but not required to bring instruments.
